Update: TimberFill Now Shipping in 20 lb. Bags

We’re passing along an important update from TimberHP: TimberFill insulation will now ship in 20-pound bags, down from the previous 25-pound format.

This change is based on direct feedback from the field and real-world jobsite testing. While coverage per pound and price per pound remain the same, the lighter bags offer some meaningful advantages for installers and crews:

  • Easier to break up in blowing machines, especially for compact or less powerful equipment

  • Faster hopper loading means more time insulating, less time bag-handling

  • Lower moisture content supports cleaner, more consistent application across a variety of environments

You’ll notice a lower bag price (reflecting the reduced weight) and new packaging design rolling out immediately. TimberHP has also released an updated Coverage Chart aligned with the 20 lb. bags—be sure to grab the latest version before your next job.

We think this change makes a good product even easier to work with. If you have any questions about the update, reach out—we’re happy to help.
